I once heard it said that the most important words to a woman are, "I love you." The most important words to a man are, "I'm proud ofyou." If your spouse visibly responds to kind words and praise, they speak the language of words of affirmation. These words cost nothing, but mean everything.
Here are some ideas to spark the romance in your relationship:
- Mail your partner a card a day for a week. Mail them to him/her at work, if you can.
- Call your love in the middle of the day to say, "I love you and I'm thinking of you. I want you to know I appreciate your hard work and all you do to provide for our family."
- Leave love notes in odd places, such as the shower, in the car, in his wallet, or in her purse.
- Write a message on your bathroom mirror.
Take advantage of any opportunity to express your appreciation in front of others. When you're with family or friends boast and brag about your mate. Believe me, they'll love you for it. Use your own creativity to come up with ways to shower your spouse with Words of Affirmation.
I'd like to get help from some of our experienced lovers out there...What creative things have you done to verbally or nonverbally to speak words of affirmation within your relationship?

Flowers seem to work well with my wife. I think its a waste of money because they die so soon, but she really seems to appreciate them. Maybe she just really appreciates the fact that I was thinking about her.
