I have only one final room that requires an overhaul --THE GARAGE!!
1. I have officially defined the purpose of the garage as the storage room for my car.
2. I must donate items that have no purpose and prevent me from warehousing my car in the garage to the local Goodwill.
This does not pain me at all because I donate to Goodwill religiously as a result of this "makeover project". I have cleared out so many unnecessary vestiges of my life because I have accepted the truth that purposeless possessions do not enhance my quality of life but rather subtract from it.

I had to own that universal truth and it was hard for me at first, because it was so contrary to everything I believed and had lived beforehand.
4. If you MUST buy something, find something else of similar size, shape, and value to give away to control household inventory levels.
With all of this, I have turned around the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, and my office/library room.
My household efficiency and my mental clarity and self-esteem have shot through the roof because I find items with relative ease and I have so much more space to claim as my very own.
I have made the trash can, the shredder, and Goodwill my new best friends and haven't looked back ever since.
